new here
Hi there!
My name is mariah and I live on ten acres outside of a tiny little town smack in the middle of wisconsin. I rescue and rehome (sometimes lol) all different kinds of animals and most of the ones that live with me right now are rescues. I am currently owned by 2 silver foxes (Suki and Luna), 1 cross colored fox (Trouble), 1 american bulldog (Cora), 8 cats (Sparta, Mittens, Abby, Max, Leonitis, Gypsy, Sylvester, and Danny), 3 kittens (Elvis, Theodore, and Bug), 2 horses (Crystal and Rusty), 2 geckos (leopard: Emmi, golden: Pandi), 1 turtle (Tad), 2 parakeets (Sammy and Dotty) 14 chickens (too many to names to type), 12 pigeons (also too many names to type lol), 3 rabbits (Blackie, Grey Bear, Floppy), and 3 ducks (Ninja, Cricket, and Patty). As you can tell I love all animal, even the "creepy crawlies". As a matter of fact I used to have a tarantula named Fuzzy :) . Anyway I am very excited to be apart of this forum and I am enjoying my time here.

Holy cow!!! Welcome on board suki's mom! You are certainly at the right place to share and learn and teach as well!!

In what corner of Wisconsin do you live? I used to live in Cassville, south-west Tri-State corner at the Mississippi. I couldn't stand the cold for so long, so I moved back to Texas, hehe.

Its a tiny little town called Friendship (odd name huh?) About a half hour away from Wisconsin Dells and about an hour and fifteen from Madison

I like the name! When I moved back to Texas, I wanted to live in a town called Rainbow, but it has a huge nuclear reactor, not quite the pot of gold I had imagined I moved to the next suitable town, which is Stephenville.

Re: new here
That's cool. I wish I could move somewhere warmer but many states wouldn't allow me to have my foxes.

Welcome on board! Your house sounds alot like ours! We don't lack for critters of every kind. It sounds like you can probably give us all help with such a wide range of critters you care for.
