Default Kaylee's missing!! :(

She was outside running around and my mom looked out, and saw her sitting on a snowbank that was very high, making it easy for her to jump over the fence. In the time it took my mom to put on her winter coat and boots, get the leash and walk down, she was already gone. The neighbor came out and said that he saw Kaylee hop the fence, and then saw somebody with a light blue car stop to put her in the car.. all within five freaking minutes!! We called the local animal shelter, we don't have a chip or tattoo on her, but she does have a license on her collar, so they are going to call us when they receive any information. I hope she's okay!!!

KAYLEE IS HOME!

As is turns out, he thought that Kaylee belonged to another woman in the area who also owns a Bernese mountain dog (who is also friends with my mom). He went to her house, and saw her dog, so he ended up bringing Kaylee back to his place, where he also had his own Bernese mountain dog, then called the animal shelter, got our number, called us, and brought her home. x.x'' Apparently Kaylee was just having the time of her life playing with the other dog!

My mom was thoroughly panicked the entire time. My brother and I don't mean to say, "I told you so." but maybe this will show my parents not to let her outside without supervision during the winter, WHEN THE SNOWBANKS GET TO BE HIGHER THAN OUR FENCE!!! (Since part of our land is woody, it's impossible to get the snowblower through there)

Anyway, the important thing is that she's okay and she's home. Gave us all a good scare though!

I'm really glad that she was found safe and well we've had a few times just recently where dogs have been taken from the area and sold on whihc is just disgraceful!!

But yeah maybe keep her on the leash next time so that she can't jump over the fence lol, cos unfortunately mine done that once and we lived near a train station and safe to say i don't want to repeat the rest of the story

This was a year ago, my parents learned their lesson. I had a great time openly laughing at them when they were complaining about always having to bring her outside with a leash until the snow melted. ^^
