Cute! I wouldn't suspect Rott X as much as Generic Black Dog. Black and tan is such a common pattern, too. From the size, I'd suspect something more like a kelpie or generic 'cowdog' type.

From what I was told, the mom is a pure-bred Chihuahua. If that's true, then the father was probably a tan and black Chi as well, but I guess we'll never know for sure. Maybe it'll get clearer once they are a big bigger.

Yesterday I found a home for the last pup, so all of them are spoken for! That's good news, because they don't have to go back to the shelter once they are ready to be adopted and get exposed to parvo and all that 'fun'.

Congrats on the homes!

Mom is definitely a purebred Chih, just not a well-bred one. I don't think those pups are purebred, though- they're too heavy-boned at this age. I tihnk they're mixed with something larger. Since they've got so little white, my bet would be min pin.

Coco and 3 of her pups have left the nest here! The other 3 puppies will leave this Friday to their new homes. It has been fun!

Congrats Mama Dolittle, My cairn was on my lap while I was watching that. Her head was tilting at 90 degree angles from the yipping lol.

You can tell who's gonna be the trouble maker of the litter. Check this little girl out!
