Cool bully lover

hello name is john. I found this forum by searching Ceasar Millan. (by the way....i'm a big fan!) My american staffordshire terrier's name is Anabell. She's a rescue from Hazelton Animal Shelter in PA. Anabell is about 8 months old. She's a bit of tough case right now. Thanks to Ceasar's plan, I now get up at 5 AM and Anabell and I go for at least a half hour walk. Then after work at least 45 minutes to an hour. During walks she's great! She needs few commands and redirections. When we get back home it's a different story...but we're working on it.
Anabell has big shoes to fill. Sadie was a Staffy we had prior to Anabell. Sadie was a rescue too. Behaviorly she was completely different from Anabell. We had few problems from the start with her. The only issue we had with Sadie was her allergies. She had severe food allergies which to this day, we didn't figure out. She passed away only 5 months after we got her but will never be forgotten. She was a great dog!!!

anyways....Ceasar says that our dogs are our mirrors, so i guess i told you a lot about me!

Hello John and a very warm welcome! I'm looking forward sharing experiences with you about Cesar's way.

Have you watched all shows yet?

I have 4 dogs. A great dane named Olliver (2 years), a yellow lab named Butters (5 years), a chihuahua/cocker mix named Sandy (15 years), and Kicker, the Dumpster puppy, probably great dane/hound/shepherd mix (6 months).

So, as you can see, even without my rescue I have my hands full! But since I am home all day working from here and taking care of the rescue, I have the chance to be the packleader all the time.

The only problem I'm having right now is with Kicker. The juvenile switch turned on!! He tried to attack me yesterday and then even growled at me during obedience training, when we were practicing the 'down' command. So I got me a challenge right here..not REacting towards his behavior, but staying calm and correct him right..phew.

I love challenges though .
