Default Beaver

This is my first beaver. I had to do a lot of asking and reading up, but I am confident that the little one is good taken care of. He pooped (in the water, as he's supposed to) and drank some Esbilac. He weighs 566 grams and is about 2 weeks old.

Since lone beavers don't have much of a chance, I'm looking into finding a beaver rehabber in Dallas who can hopefully take him in and put him with other beavers.

I had NO IDEA how totally adorable they are though :

Thanks! I'm still trying to find somebody to drive the beaver to Plano, TX, which is about 2 hours drive one way. I found a rehabber there that has 2 other beavers his age and she's willing to accept this one too.

Thanks to Lindsay, a student at the local college and member of the Wildlife Society, the beaver is now safe and sound at another rescue with other beavers in Dallas, TX, called Furry FriendZ at http://furryfriendzy.org/ .

I'm so glad you were able to get this little guy somewhere where he would have some company.
