![]() I thought they were illegal? And what is with everyone finding squirrels? Thats crazy. I have squirrels around my house but I never find injured ones.

![]() If you would find a baby, you have to find a licensed rehabilitator within 72 hours (in most States). If not and the law catches you with it, you'll pay a big fine. If you can't find a rehabber, I guess you'll have to humanely kill it, since you can't keep it and can't find anybody permitted to take it.
That's the law for ya, so most rehabbers help the people that find orphaned wildlife with information to raise them and risk their licenses by doing so by not 'turning them in'.
