lol, its just a saying that means everything is going ok so far. I think it came from people that de-fuse bombs. hold your breath while you clip the wires so you dont touch the other wire and blow up.

Idont think she is really holding her breath that long.....maybe....well not really or she would be in the record books.

Aah, thanks for the clarification! Some english idioms sound close to german ones that mean something different, like in this case I understood holding the breath because something exciting is about to happen. Now I wanted to throw something smartass'ish out there in german and can't think of anything, damn! lol Too much going on today!

Getting fuller here. The 2 larger ones are the same pinkies from the first pictures of this thread:

Wow, your pinkies must have been older than mine? Mine are just starting to get their tail fur. Mine have multiplied too . I now have 8 three week old squirrels! Your little ones are looking good and very cute as always.

Hard to tell how old they really are. They had to be under a week since the umbilical cord was still visible. Maybe the foxies get hair earlier than grays? 8 is quite a job!

Mine are all foxers too. Maybe Texas squirrels just grow up faster? Here is a picture of mine, which were pinkies at the same time yours were I think:

Just took that picture yesterday

The two new guys

Here, I would guess the bigger ones in your picture are 4 weeks old and the little ones are 2-3 weeks old
