Default He won't "poop"

I have a baby squirrel, 4 weks old, that I cannot get to have bowel movements. He pees a lot, and I believe he will die if he doesn't "poop" soon. I've had him for a week now. I have raised one before and never had this trouble. I have bathed him in warm water, and have been constantly tickling his privates, but all he does is "pee".
There was once a little bit of poop coming out, but not very much.

He is in good shape otherwise, hungry all the time , and is spry when I let him move about. What can I do to get him to poop???????????

Welcome on board, kiwiddo!

I have a few questions: Have you tried to find a rehabber yet? What are you feeding, how often and with what? Can you post a picture?

Can't get hold of a rehabber. I'm feeding him Esbilac....4parts water/ one part Esbilac, like they said. I started out every two hours, with Pedialyte, then weaned him to esbilac every two hours, now every four hours. He takes the food eagerly, and pees, but no poop, lol

Hello, This is per Missdolittle as she is having PC problems right now. The squirrel should be fine, at this age there is not a whole lot of visable poop. If he has gone this long without any fecal discharge he would not be feeding.
Also what state/area are you in, she can probably locate a rehabber for you. PM me if you want

I have called most rehabbers, and they mostly have disconnected their phones. One told me she did not have an answer for me, and told me to call a vet. I did, and was told to bring it in to them.
I don't want to do thet..I want to raise it myself, if I can. I did it before.

At four weeks old, the baby should definetely be pooping enough that you see it. Mine always poop up a storm. The formula should be mixed with 3 parts water to one part powder, maybe he isn't getting enough of the actual formula since it is watered down? I would try adding a little bit of mixed cereal baby food (by gerber in the jar baby food, not flakes) and see if that gets him pooping.

Is his belly big and hard or normal?
