Have'nt they grown?! I just moved them outside on Monday. They love it! They run free in the pen during the day but I still cage them at night. I think they are safer that way. Afterall they are still just little babies at only 8 weeks old. I somehow some of them would disagree with that statement.

I wish I could give some advice on that other thread but I have no idea. All I can think of is taking her to a vet. Not much help really .

I just put up new pictures of the coons on the website http://all-gods-creatures.tripod.com/

I thought for a while that I was going to have to overwinter Dunkin(he isn't in the pictures as he kept hiding. but he is actually growing in a good coat of fur and getting fat, so I think he will be ready to go in late september with the rest.
They are getting so big it is hard to think that they were once less than one pound!

I released all my coonie babies on Wednesday the 27th. I am glad they were all healthy and ready to go be coons but I miss them alot too. After all I was their Mommy for 5 months.
I noticed they were getting restless in their pen last weekend and so was planning on making arrangments to release them this weekend. Well they sped up the process by first getting into the cats pen which was connected to theirs by a door and making a huge mess. Then on wednesday they managed somehow to get a hole in the chicken wire on the side of their cage and all but two were in a tree by our barn. So after finally catching them all they went to a big forest with a pond to be happy little coonies. They were all happy to go except one,Humbug, who kept following me and wanting to be picked up and wanted to follow me. I wanted to cry! But he got busy with another of the coons by the pond and I left.
So now I have to wait until next spring to begin it all over again! I can't wait.
Right now I have four fox squirrels that are about 3-4 weeks old.
