Default New guy on the block?

We've been feeding a number of squirrels in our back yard for several months. We have a feeder on our Oak tree and they come around every day to eat. One squirrel in particular likes to come up to the patio windows and press his nose on the glass to see if we've got anything for him! We got back from a trip on Sunday and topped up the feeder for them but today, a new squirrel has arrived. He's much darker in colour and much more aggressive. The others wont even try to climb the tree when he's at the feeder. He seems to have no ears or pinned back ears and has a worrying large pink growth just next to his left paw with a black centre. Any idea what this could be and whether this squirrel is very different from our normal visitors?

Welcome on board, Doris Day!

It sounds like your guy might have an abscess on his paw, but that is soooo hard to tell without seeing the animal. Can you snatch a few pictures of the normal squirrels and of the new guy?

Also what State do you live in? Here in central Texas we have only fox squirrels, maybe you live in an area where there's more than one kind or you are dealing with a genetic thing like albinos for example. Could be anything.
