Question The Best Dog Food

What do you feel is the best dog food out there? Or at least, the most affordable good one? It seems most veterinarians and pet lovers around here swear by Science Diet.

I really don't like Science Diet. Our cats always throw it up and the dogs don't look as good(Dry skin, itching, dull coats) when we use it besides they don't like it. But some people really like it.We use Iams or pedigree for our adult dogs. We use Purina puppy chow for the puppies.

Science diet is overpriced junk. If you're going to buy it, buy Pedigree or Puppy Chow and save your money for the vet bills.

It's full of corn (most common allergen in dogs!) and unspecified animal protein sources.

If you want to feed a mid-grade food like SD, check out Canidae, Diamond Professional, Chicken Soup for the Dog's Soul, Solid Gold, Wellness, Pro Plan (particularly Pro Plan Selects), or Fromm's.
