ROFL about the peeing on hubby thing! Poor hubby hehehehe.

How is it going today?

One of my goals in life is to bring handicapped people and animals together, so I like the idea of the squirrel being of assistance there. Just please keep in mind, it is a wild animal and it is against the law. I'd hate to see problems arise because of this. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and paid $155 fine.

Ouch, $155.00 seems mean when all you're trying to do is help...

JohnJohn is getting better every minute. He's crawling around, climbing the cage, and NOT happy if he thinks its time to eat and I'm taking too long.

He also met Marcus, a squirrel I released 3 years ago that still comes around every so often. Neither one was very impressed but Marcus was a bit curious. Hopefully, they can bond a bit before I release JohnJohn.

I'll keep you up to date!

In img tags it has to be within the starting and closing [IMG]url here[/IMG]

It looks like you either deleted the pic from there though or they removed it.

I messed around a bit and out of the 2 tags, I managed to get one picture to show. What a cute baby! Looks healthy too, eyes are clear, fur is clean, good job .

I consider a squirrel that lives through another day in my care a miracle in itself, don't you?

Wow. Leaps and bounds again. Crawling up the "trees" I put in his cage, getting mad when I'm not quick enough, enjoying the thicker formula (Esbilac + rice cereal), exploring solid food (esp. rice cakes), and looking more like a squirrel that can make it on his own. Again, thanks SO much for your help.
We'll keep you informed,
Helenmary

He's starting to play around, actually looking like a healthy squirrel!! Still sounds "congested" sometimes but I'm beginning to think it's just one of his squirrel noises. He's doing well...
